1966 Francie Growin Pretty Hair , Rooted Eyelashes, Vintage Clothes, Japan

In 1966, Barbie's hip cousin was released with hair variations. Growin Pretty Hair - released in 1970, referred to a little hole in her head under hair with one long piece of hair you could pull out. I checked the hole under her hair and the long piece is not there. She has retained her original upswept hairstyle through the years. Doll has rooted eyelashes, twist and turn body, click bend knees, straight ankles- all in excellent condition. I was very lucky to come upon an actual vintage outfit for her. She has a light teal green form fitting dress and a fabulous emerald green cape style coat with elbow length sleeves with light green satin lining. I have given her a teal green wrist purse, black shoes and sunglasses. Doll has year 1966, Mattel, Japan on her back end. She is fabulous! Stand not included.
