The Imperial Glass Corporation was founded in 1901 in Bellaire, Ohio, and became one of the most prominent and prolific American glassmakers of the 20th century. Known for its high-quality handmade glassware, Imperial produced a wide range of products, including pressed glass, carnival glass, cut glass, and elegant crystal. Imperial's production included iconic patterns such as Candlewick, Cape Cod, and others, many of which remain highly collectible today. The company thrived during the mid-century but faced financial struggles in the 1970s and ultimately closed its doors in 1984.
