Manufacturer: Spode, a renowned English pottery manufacturer.
Pattern: Death of the Bear, part of the Indian Sporting series inspired by Captain Thomas Williamson's Oriental Field Sports .
Material: Transfer-printed earthenware with blue and white design.
Era: Circa 1820, during the Georgian period.
Design: Depicts a hunting scene with an elephant, hunters on horseback, and dogs attacking a bear.
