This was in my father-in-law's shed.
I only cleaned away the dust, so I could photograph.
The bottom reads: ACE moistener No.7 prior New York U.S.A.
These were used for companies and homes that needed to moisten lots of letters and stamps, before everything became automated.
It's is very nice shape.
I don't see any damage that is not characteristic of is age and use.
